Ugh, I’m never telling anyone I have a headache again. I mentioned to my oncologist this morning that I’ve been having headaches, so now what do I get to have – an MRI on my brain.
I’m starting to feel a little bit like a lab rat. Granted, this week has been exceptional, since I had PET and CT scans yesterday, which involve getting needled, and then chemo class and blood work this morning. The crappy thing about that was that I completely forgot I was having blood work, so I went in prepared to sit around and take notes a while, and ended up getting prodded again. I will say that the tech who took my blood was excellent – I literally didn’t feel the needle go in.
Tomorrow is now brain scan day, and then Monday bone marrow. Then Tuesday I get on a plane for Orlando for a 3-day business trip. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to travel on business in my life, if for no other reason than there is no way the doctors can get to me there.
