Just the black hairs

My hair has been salt and pepper for at least the last 5 years or so – my beard probably even longer… and whiter.

The hair loss has continued, but in a rather odd way. I seem to be losing only my black hairs, at least on my face. The bottom half of my beard, where the hair loss seems to be heaviest, is now completely white.

I also shaved the rest of my face and head, as usual, and the whiskers coming in on my face are completely white. Not a black hair amongst ’em.
