It’s Thursday morning, three days after chemo, and a day after a Neulasta shot to boost my white cell production.
Wow, I feel like ass this morning. Probably didn’t help that I woke up nauseated, but I’m also exhausted. Haven’t even managed to drag my ass to the coffee machine yet and fire up some go-juice. Kinda waiting for the anti-nausea meds to kick in, first. After that coffee and breakfast, and then a handful of pills. I think I’m on the last day of the antibiotic for the port installation, so at least one of those will go away.
Upside? My tumor is visibly smaller, and I can sleep through the night without pain meds. I’m getting better, which is good. The process is just tough.
Good news regarding the shrinking tumor! Unhappy to learn there is a tumor at all though 🙁 The nausea …. ugh… I gave my husband marijuana when he was suffering so bad. I figured if the cops wanted to arrest us for possession….well, He figured the same thing. He was very sick, I would have gone to jail just to avoid watching his torment.
Blessings on you, may the universe continue to guide the chemicals so that your tumor will be KILLED and gone from your body.
Thanks, Chessie, I appreciate the support, particularly from my biker friends!
